Did You Know..? A Recent survey revealed courgettes (or zucchini, depending where you live) are Britain’s 10th favorite vegetable.
Mexican’s prefer eating the flowers of the courgette plant to eating the vegetable itself.
Zucchini are easy to grow from seed. However, the plants require plenty of bee activity for cross-pollination from male to female flowers, without which the veggies will begin to grow, but then wither and die.
My towering bean stalk with its abundance of bright red flowers has been a great attraction for bees to my plot this summer, not sure how the courgettes would have faired otherwise.
Each courgette plant produces both male and female flowers. The male grows on a long slim stem, whereas the female blossoms on the end of each developing zucchini.
Both male and female flowers are edible.

In a lot of cultures sandalwood can be used as incense for religion. Buddhists use sandalwood incense for meditation. Buddhists believe the sandalwood relaxes the body and sharpens the mind. The Chinese and Japanese religions are also known to use sandalwood as an incense for ceremonies and for religious purposes. Sandalwood contains 90% of beta-santalol which contains antimicrobial properties. Sandalwood can be used for odors, skin conditions, cognitive function, respiratory disorders, and digestive disorders.

Sandalwood isn’t just known as a sandalwood fragrance for its woody scents, but has numerous of health benefits. Sandalwood oil has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antimicrobial, anti-fungal, and astringent properties. Sandalwood also has sedative properties and can be used as a antidepressant. Sandalwood since its anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and antimicrobial, the oil can help treat bronchitis, illness, pain, insomnia, urinary tract infections, diarrhea, chest infections, coughs, colds, sore throats, nasal congestion, and other digestive and respiratory conditions.
How to use sandalwood oil for cognitive conditions, digestive disorders and respiratory system conditions requires using sandalwood oil as a vaporizer. Never digest sandalwood fragrance oils. They’re toxic and very strong. The best and easy way is boiling a cup of hot water. Then apply about 2-3 drops of sandalwood oil into the boiled cup of water. Cover the cup with a paper towel, and then inhale the steam.

Sandalwood fragrance oil can be toxic and should be used with extreme caution.

Q. What was the original concept
AT&T LG C900: WP7, Landscape Slider, Two Button Layout
The LG C900 is another Windows Phone 7 coming this year and according to the popular blog site engadget the official carrier will be AT&T.
This landscape slider handset will come with a four-row keyboard for easier text messaging and email correspondence, while a simplified two-button capacitive layout located right below the screen will be accompanied by a chrome Windows key to remain within Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 specifications.

Digital Freebie Scrapbook Kit: Country Afternoon
This free digital scrapbooking kit is called Country Afternoon, and it’s for those who love the peaceful country life. It features a trellis covered with flowers, surrounded by a weathered garden gate and an old well. A chicken grazes quietly by the well, presumably enjoying all the colorful flowers in bloom.
There are 10 country-inspired PNG elements in this kit, including a chicken, an egg, a well, a fence fronted by flowers, grass, a weathervane, a trellis covered in flowers, and three flower images. There is also a quick page that shows the trellis, fence and well combined. The eight matching papers come in soft shades of purple, blue, cream and mauve, in watercolor, distressed and stripe designs.
The elements for this kit came from Helga of GrannyArt.Blogspot.com and the papers are altered versions of designs used by permission from Cindy of Statchoo Scraps and Silke of Papierstudio Scrap Designs. Thanks to all of them for their creativity!
